Europe’s most southerly ski resort
The Sierra Nevada is Europe’s most southerly ski resort. It is also the highest resort in Spain. From its highest point, the summit of Veleta, visitors can look out over the Mediterranean and maybe even catch a glimpse of the Moroccan coast. The ski area covers more than 105km and includes 117 marked runs for skiers of every level, with snow of an excellent quality.
