Tour des Stations

In the heart of Swiss Alps, the «cycling world toughest D+/km » one day race!
Imagine a cycling enduro in the heart of the Swiss Valais, offering an exceptional sport challenge linking the region’s ski stations in a spectacular environment. For its first edition, the so-called Tour des Stations has welcome almost 2,000 participants. The event proposes three different routes following the concept of the Marmotte Granfondo Series, based on distance (220km, 140km or 50km) and the corresponding altitude differences (7,400mD+, 4,700mD+ or 2,000mD+). The courses feature « class of its own » climbs like the mythical Croix-de-Cœur, topping out at 2,174 metres.

In co-operation with the resorts of Verbier, Crans-Montana, Nendaz, Ovronnaz, Anzère, Vercorin, Nax, Saint-Martin, Hérémence, Thyon 2000, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, and cities of Conthey, Sion, Sierre and Martigny, the Tour des Stations crosses through the enchanting countryside of the Canton of Valais, its mountainous vineyards, picturesque nature, authentic villages and internationally renowned resorts.

The Tour des Stations has the ambition to become the reference of Swiss granfondo races, akin to the Marmottes Alpes in France and the Dolomites Marathon in Italy.
