Concert of Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra moved!
Due to inclement weather conditions the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra concert, originally set to take place at La Chaux has been moved to Salle des Combins, 14h30. The date remains the same, Sunday, 28 July. Doors open at 14:00. Free entry.
Together with Téléverbier, the musicians of the Junior Orchestra will push the boundaries of classical music by interpreting major works by Mozart, Schumann and Chostakovitch on the alpine pastures of La Chaux at 2pm on Sunday, 28 July.
The Verbier Junior Festival Orchestra (VFJO) is an international orchestral training programme for musicians aged 15 to 18. They are coached by a roster of established musicians from around the globe, many of whom are Verbier Festival Orchestra alumni and who now perform in prominent orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, San Francisco Symphony, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and SWR Symphonieorchester Stuttgart.
