From the mines to the alpine flavours

Follow in the footsteps of the old miners of Mont-Chemin, discover this historically rich path. Followed by a tasting of local produce from the Col des Planches pasture. 
What do I need to do?
1. Online registration is mandatory before 4 pm the day before the trip. No reservation by email. Activtiy 1x 50% with VIP Pass.
2. On the day of the trip, meet at Verbier Tourist Office at 1.30 pm or at Le Châble Tourist Office at 1.45 pm.
3. A taxi will take you to the Col des Planches (around 45 minutes from Verbier).
4. Enjoy the hike (1 hour) to reach the entrance of the mine and continue the visit inside.
5. The taxi will then take you back to the Col des Planches for a cheese tasting (drinks are not included in the registration).
6. Leave the Col des Planches at around 5.15 pm to return to Verbier around 6 pm.

You can have something to eat at the snack bar (regional products) and buy some mountain cheese. Participants must be in good physical condition,
1 hour walk to the mines. Remember to bring sturdy shoes and a warm jumper for the tour of the mine gallery.

In case of bad weather, the activity is maintained but the program will be adapted accordingly.

All activities organised by the Verbier – Val de Bagnes Tourist Office comply with the protection measures set out by the Federal Office of Public Health and the restrictions imposed by cantonal or federal authorities to fight the spread of COVID-19.
