  • Since the dawn of time, water has been the main focus of humans and animals alike.

    Altitude, sunshine, the different seasons and a changing environment have a major impact on mountain habitats.

    Which kind of environment is Valais in? What about Verbier?

    That is what we will discover during a walk along the famous Bisse du Levron irrigation channel, as well as another watercourse. Expect stories, observations and stunning vantage points.

    What do I need to do?
    1. Online registration is mandatory before 4 pm the day before the trip. No reservation by email. 1x free with VIP Pass.
    2. On the day of the trip, meet at Verbier Tourist Office at 1 pm.
    3. Bring a backpack and the equipment listed below; be sure to wear hiking shoes.
    4. Enjoy the hike (2.30 hours hike).
    5. Return in Verbier around 4.30 pm.

    Equipment:
    Windproof jacket and pullover
    Hiking shoes
    Backpack with water bottle, snacks
    Hat
    Sunglasses

    2.30 hours hike and level of difficulty: easy.

    Minimum age to participate in the activity: 10 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

    All activities organised by the Verbier – Val de Bagnes Tourist Office comply with the protection measures set out by the Federal Office of Public Health and the restrictions imposed by cantonal or federal authorities to fight the spread of COVID-19.
