Does the world around you seem to be going too fast? Do you feel the need to reconnect and get back to basics? We have the remedy you’re searching for: an excursion that delves deep into the natural beauty of Upper Val de Bagnes.
The principle of “less is more” applies on this excursion: all you’ll need to take with you are a carefully packed rucksack, some suitable hiking clothes and shoes, and plenty of energy.

Accompanied by Mélanie, your guide, you’ll spend two days discovering the protected natural area of Upper Val de Bagnes. Travelling on foot and at your own pace, you’ll discover the flora, fauna, local traditions, stories and legends of this exceptional place.

When evening comes, you’ll prepare a delicious meal using the ingredients you gathered during the day. You’ll then settle down in an ître, an ancient shepherd’s shelter whose stone walls will shield you from the elements. You can look forward to a peaceful night’s rest accompanied only by the sounds of the natural environment around you.

The next day, you’ll set out again for a long hike to Mauvoisin, where you’ll take the PostBus to Le Châble. As you enjoy the nostalgia of this timeless experience, you’ll realise that completely disconnecting has given you the chance to focus on the basics, leaving you with more energy than ever to tackle everyday life. Mission accomplished!

    3. The bus will take you to Mauvoisin. Participants must pay for their own tickets.
