The Talk is followed by a gondola ride up the mountain to Ruinettes, followed by a curated walk through “The Great Pause” exhibition by the Verbier 3-D Foundation to la Croix-de-Coeur. At 2168 meters, this spot provides an exceptional panorama between the Combins and the Mont Blanc in the south and the Bernese Alps in the north. The guided walk continues with a forest route leading to the charming little chapel of St-Christophe, where the Verbier Festival will present an open-air chamber music concert “Beethoven Pastoral” for the final day of its Virtual Festival. Like the annual Verbier Art Summit, all these events will be open to the public for free. The next day, on 13 August, you are invited on a guided E-Bike tour to visit Carron’s exhibition at the Mauvoisin Dam: “Un Ami Simple (A Simple Friend)”.

About the non-profit
The Verbier Art Summit is an international platform for discourse in a non-transactional context. In partnership with a yearly rotating international museum director, the non-profit Summit connects thought leaders to key figures in the art world to generate innovative ideas and drive social change. To expand the conversation into a global dialogue, the speakers contribute to the Summit publication series, available online and in art bookshops worldwide.
The Verbier Art Summit is held each January in a unique location at an altitude of 1500m and with stunning views across the Swiss Alps. The talks programme can be attended on-site in Verbier and online via live-broadcasting.
