  • Imagine the scene: your group of adventurers cooks “trapper’s bread” on a stick over a crackling fire, accompanied by the comforting aroma of a nice hot soup as you share stories and tales with your fellow explorers… This activity will give you a taste of the trapper’s life for a day!

  • Bruson’s unspoilt nature and quiet trails are the perfect setting for this experience. Don your best explorer’s hat, grab your snowshoes and dive into an adventure!

    Starting from Verbier, you will set off towards the other side of the valley. In addition to showing you the region’s natural wonders during this two-hour hike, your guide will also teach you about trappers, the great adventurers of the West.     Once night falls, exhausted but content, you’ll head back to the warmth of your own home with a head full of memories and a new adventure under your belt – stories you can tell at your next trappers’ meeting!
    Trip details:

    2 hours hike and level of difficulty: easy.

    What do I need to do?
    1. Online registration is mandatory before 4 pm the day before the trip. No reservation by email.
    2. On the day of the trip, meet at Verbier Tourist Office at 10.30 pm.
    3. Bring a backpack and the equipment listed above; be sure to wear hiking boots.
    4. Enjoy the hike (2 hours hike).
    5. Return in Verbier around 3 pm.

    Equipment:
    Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants (take old clothes not to bad)
    Winter hiking shoe or rigid snow boot
    Backpack with water bottle, snacks
    Hat and gloves
    Sunglasses

    Snowshoes and sticks are provided by the tourist office at the beginning of the activity.

    Minimum age to participate in the activity: 7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

    All activities organised by the Verbier – Val de Bagnes Tourist Office comply with the protection measures set out by the Federal Office of Public Health and the restrictions imposed by cantonal or federal authorities to fight the spread of COVID-19.
