Verbier Sector
Downhill skiing in Verbier Station
-
The Verbier sector is one of Europe’s most prestigious ski areas.
-
Its high-altitude pistes offer guaranteed snow cover from November through to the end of April and range from blue pistes through to black pistes kitted out with the latest equipment.
At 3,000m in altitude, Mont-Gelé is the highest point in the resort. It is also part of the large network of marked freeride routes – ungroomed but secured to ensure a safe skiing experience – that make Verbier the freeride capital of the world.

What’s more, freestyle fans can also try out the snowpark in La Chaux, which offers sections for all levels and a big airbag that’s perfect for learning tricks. Verbier also has ski cross and sprint skiing facilities for everyone looking to face off against their friends and forge some unforgettable memories.
You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food, with local specialities and a wide range of flavours from around Europe on offer. Verbier is also well known for its nightlife, so you can round off a fun day of skiing with some après-ski on the slopes, where many of the bars offer concerts and DJs. “Verbier” pass holders also enjoy access to the Bruson and Savoleyres sectors.
