Ski area

Perched on a sunny plateau in the heart of the mountains, with its slate-roofed chalets, Verbier has carefully maintained its charm as an alpine village. This is the gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area – with nearly 100 lifts and more than 400 km of ski runs for all levels of expertise at your feet.

A freeride paradise, the resort is a must for skiers and snowboarders from all over the world, and its après-ski and aperitifs are a veritable institution on terraces where a cosmopolitan clientele of all generations is to be found. While this resort is a true paradise for winter sports, its summer options are just as appealing and are an open invitation to endless discoveries. The resort is a huge adventure playground for those skilled at mountain biking.

Linked to the 4 Vallées, Verbier and La Tzoumaz form part of Switzerland’s largest ski area with 410km of pistes. With activities such as ski touring, heli-skiing, and freeride on world-renowned marked routes, the ski area lacks for nothing. But the joys of snow sports aren’t just for skiers and boarders – walking, snowshoe, and cross-country skiing trails also allow you to lose yourself in nature and on your own terms. And for fun, take your family or friends on the longest sledge run in French-speaking Switzerland, in La Tzoumaz.

Closing of the ski area on April 18th 2021.

The closure of Médran 1 added to capacity restrictions on Le Châble-Médran cabins create important queues.

For these reasons, the access to Médran 2 from the place de Médran will not be authorized before 10 am or more depending on the number of people.
In any case, we strongly recommend that you take the Mayentzet chairlift via the additional shuttles to the crossroads at any time.

This is valid until the end of the season.
Thank you for your understanding and good end of season to all !
