In the forest, along the Dranse or overlooking the valley, our trails promise pleasure and variety.

Four cross-country skiing routes from 2.5 to 6 km await you in the Verbier and Val de Bagnes region. An idyllic setting and breathtaking views guaranteed.

Nordic Tour 2026

This winter, Verbier – Val de Bagnes draws its own line and joins the Nordic Tour 2026.
A connected, playful and flexible cross-country skiing challenge linking 13 destinations across Switzerland and France. Here: two routes, two vibes, one shared energy.

From 15 December 2025 to 31 March 2026, ski whenever you want, however you want. Full speed on the clock or an easy discovery, you set the pace. Download the Alpvengers app, start the route, let the snow speak. At Les Ruinettes or Plamproz, the mountain becomes your playground… with a few small rewards for those who complete the routes.

Les Ruinettes - La Chaux

From the Ruinettes gondola (2,200 m), three loops of different difficulty levels await you. One thing in common: a magical view over the Grand Combin and the Val de Bagnes.

  • Blue run: 6km / elevation ± 15m
  • Red run: 1.4km / elevation ± 45m
  • Black run: 1.4km / elevation ± 112m

Price: A lift pass is required to access the trails.
Access: By gondola to Les Ruinettes

The Plamproz trail

The Plamproz trail (1,336 m) is probably the most magical loop in the destination. At the bottom of the Val de Bagnes, it winds through forest, meadows and old chalets.

Access: Parking available at the start of the loop

Small Champsec loop

Above the village of Champsec, this small loop climbs in switchbacks through snowy fields. The descent follows a parallel track, with views over the village.
4 km / elevation ±110m
Price: Free
Access: Take the bus from Le Châble towards Fionnay and get off at “Champsec” (300 m to the start). Parking spaces in the village centre are limited.
Please check snow conditions before heading out. Due to its low altitude, this loop is not always open.

Long loop of Champsec

By following the small loop, after the first climb you can extend the experience by joining the large loop through the forest above the village.
