Yes, access is free, except if you choose the itinerary starting from Les Ruinettes. In this case, a pedestrian pass is required. You can purchase it online on the verbier4vallées website.
The Ruinettes–La Chaux itinerary is particularly suitable for families. It follows a gentle, mostly flat route and offers panoramic views. Allow around 50 minutes for the outward journey.
Two playful trails have also been specially designed for families : Célestin le Bouquetin and Suzette la Vachette.
Yes. Stay on marked trails and respect wildlife protection zones. These areas are essential for animals’ survival. During winter, wildlife has less food available and needs to conserve energy.
Yes. However, your dog must be kept on a lead in villages, busy public areas, near livestock, on public transport and in places where this obligation is indicated. Elsewhere, your dog must remain under your control at all times.
Dog owners are required to pick up their dog’s waste, both in public areas and on agricultural land, in order to avoid any health risks for livestock. Make sure you always carry the necessary equipment with you.
Dogs are allowed in gondola lifts, but not on chairlifts.
