Description

Come and celebrate the Raclette Festival for two days in the heart of the Val de Bagnes, the home of this iconic Valais speciality.
Throughout the weekend, come and sample over a dozen different cheeses and a wide range of local produce in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Live music, a raffle and bouncy castles will also add to the fun during these two days of culinary delights. The event also returns to its traditional format, with the heifers’ contest on Saturday and the grand parade on Sunday morning. Here is the programme: Saturday 26 September • from 10am: heifers’ contest (young heifers) • from 11am: raclette • live music • from 10pm to 3am: dance Sunday 27 September • from 10.45 am grand parade through the streets of Le Châble, starting from the Place de l’Eglise • from 11 am raclette • live music • 2 pm official ceremony • 4 pm raffle draw • 8 pm end of the festivities This year’s event welcomes Saillon as guest of honour.
