Special guest: Lo Pan Ner, black bread festival
Lovers of Alpine traditions and unique flavours, don't miss this event in Bruson. Come and discover the mountain pastures that transform the flower-filled grasslands into Raclette du Valais AOP, the gold of the peaks, every summer.

Taste, chat, leave with a wheel of cheese or simply a smile, all in a festive and friendly atmosphere. With steaming raclettes, concerts and entertainment for young and old alike, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the richness of our mountain pastures with family or friends. A timeless moment filled with the aroma of cheese, mountains and simplicity.

On Sunday 8 November 2026, Bruson will also be celebrating the second edition of ‘Lo Pan Ner’, the black bread festival, at the heart of the Alpine Cheese Market. The communal ovens of the whole of Valais will come back to life for a day of sharing around rye bread: live baking, tastings, meetings, competitions for the best wood-fired rye bread, and showcasing our mountain pasture products. The combination of freshly baked black bread and mountain pasture cheeses will be in the spotlight: simple, authentic... and absolutely delicious.
