The team behind Rocklette

The PALP Festival is a series of incongruous events, sometimes nestled between celestial peaks at an altitude of three thousand meters, sometimes in nature parks or medieval castles, in the heart of a distillery, on mountain pastures, in a vineyard or a Roman amphitheater.

Each event is a unique delicacy to be savored to the full, between plains and mountains, village carnotzet or historical monument. Music, exhibitions, local flavours, shows or literary escapades: it’s all there, transformed into an experience for the dreamer.

FAQ

  • What is the Rocklette?

The Rocklette is a rock music festival held every summer in the Val de Bagnes. It combines live concerts with Alpine gastronomy — raclette — in exceptional natural settings at altitude, accessible only on foot, by bike, by gondola, or by bus.

  • Where do the concerts take place?

Concerts are held across several natural stages scattered at altitude throughout the Val de Bagnes. Venues vary from edition to edition, but are always car-free. Le Châble serves as the main departure point.

  • How do I get to the concerts?

Access is exclusively by public transport or on foot — no cars are permitted near the concert sites. Buses and gondolas depart from Le Châble to the various venues. Transport is included in the ticket price.

  • Where can I park?

A car park is available at Le Châble, including spaces for campervans.

  • What are the usual hours?

Concerts generally take place during the day, from 11:00 to 19:00.

  • What happens in case of bad weather?

In the event of heavy rain, concerts are moved to a tent in Bruson.

  • Can I buy day tickets?

Yes, day tickets are available, as well as a full festival pass. Reduced rates are offered to members of Les Amis du PALP.
