Trail Verbier Saint Bernard By Utmb A Panossiere
It is a mountain trail running race held every year in Verbier, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. Founded in 2009, it is Switzerland’s first 100M ultra-trail. The event is part of the UTMB® World Series, the world’s leading trail running circuit.
Each edition features four main races suited to all levels, from long distance to introductory, as well as two challenges for young runners in the streets of Verbier.
The four adult races cover a range of distances. The longest, the X-Alpine, is a 140 km loop starting from Verbier, crossing several valleys and the Grand-Saint-Bernard pass. Two mid-distance races follow the final section of the X-Alpine route through the most beautiful spots in the region. The shortest follows the ridge above Verbier with spectacular views over the Mont Blanc and Combins massifs.
Yes, two challenges are offered to young participants in the streets of Verbier: a running race for ages 4–14 and an orienteering race for ages 12–17.
All races finish in Verbier.
