It’s no easy task to recruit staff for a fine-dining restaurant.
So, when an opportunity presents itself, the maître d’ decides to take the plunge, despite his reservations. But he is soon disillusioned by the many blunders of this kitchen assistant, who seems to have fallen from the sky. And Mademoiselle CHANTEFOIN, heiress to a good family and a stickler for principles and the rules of etiquette, is certainly not about to say otherwise... Her personal doctor does his best to salvage these delicate situations, but without much success. Between a lobster claw that proves a little too stubborn, a sauce that refuses to flow where it should, and a dessert that warms Mademoiselle CHANTEFOIN up a little too much, the maître d’hôtel is in for a few more surprises during this somewhat surreal dinner.
