An exceptional summer of classical music in the heart of the Swiss Alps, with a programme featuring some of the world’s greatest musicians. From 16 July to 2 August, the Festival offers over 60 concerts, 100 masterclasses and 80 free events.
The Verbier Festival continues to affirm its core values through a programme defined by boldness, exchange and transmission.
The 33rd edition brings together leading international soloists such as Yunchan Lim, Evgeny Kissin, Martha Argerich, Khatia Buniatishvili, András Schiff, Alexandre Kantorow, Nikolai Lugansky and Mao Fujita.
This year’s programme also highlights renowned conductors including Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lahav Shani, Gianandrea Noseda, Daniel Harding, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, Mikhail Pletnev, Gábor Takács-Nagy, James Gaffigan and Vasily Petrenko.
The Festival places a strong emphasis on youth and new talent, welcoming numerous artists to the stages of Salle des Combins and the Verbier Church. Whether already established or emerging from the Academy, the Verbier Festival offers many unmissable events for music lovers from around the world.
UNLTD complements the Mainstage programme by challenging perceptions of classical music and stimulating the senses. A wide range of activities across Verbier redefines music by taking it beyond traditional settings and shaping it for both younger audiences and seasoned listeners.
