Organisation of the European Men's Downhill and Super G Cups from 26 to 30 January.
Competitive alpine skiing is very popular in our region. There are no fewer than six ski clubs that regularly practise this sport in our ski area, which is equipped with three training stadiums. What's more, our region has produced many champions, and not just minor ones. In addition, the promising next generation will help to perpetuate the reputation of our destination and our canton.
In 2024, following the 2023 Swiss Championships, two downhill races and a men's European Cup super-G will be organised with the aim of one day hosting major alpine skiing competitions. These events also give our local competitors the opportunity to showcase their talents, much to the delight of the region's residents and visitors. That is why we will once again be organising the European Men's Downhill and Super-G Cups from 26 to 31 January.
This initiative is also in line with the municipality of Val de Bagnes' support for the sport.
