In this age of globalisation, it is pleasing to note that niche products, local and authentic tastes still have a bright future ahead of them. It was under the impetus of eight colleagues with a passion for malt and hops that a craft micro-brewery was created a few years ago in Vollèges. Gathered in an amicale, the brewers meet in principle on the first and third Friday of the month to start a small production of beer, the most popular beverage in the world. Without any particular knowledge but filled with a faith to move mountains, inspired by the experiences of colleagues in French-speaking Switzerland, and trying to reproduce the qualities of the noblest foams, they are ready to submit to the criticism of the public.

The brewers are passionate amateurs, their brewery operates under the cooperative mode and the statutes of this association specify that the possible profits will be invested in the brewery equipment and for the village animations. When they talk about their beer, they are inexhaustible.

Since the first attempt (an internet kit), their adventure has continued in an old country kitchen made available by the commune of Vollèges. A new page has been written since November 2012. By becoming the owners of the old dairy in the village of Vollèges, the brewery partners are working to revive a place of conviviality. Come and visit them.
