This route starts from Le Châble and starts with the legendary climb taken by the Tour de France in 2009 to reach Verbier. Continue your climb up to the Croix de Cœur, the pass taken this time by the Giro d’Italia 2023. At the summit of this magnificent pass you’ll enjoy a beautiful view over the region’s mountains before redescending towards La Tzoumaz with the Rhône plain in your sights. Once at La Tzoumaz, continue the descent towards Riddes. From there, the only flat stretch of this circuit will take you to Saxon at the foot of the famous Col du Lein. After the 13.6 km climb, you will come to Val de Bagnes with a pretty descent through the villages of Levron, Cries and Vollèges before reaching Le Châble.
