Le Grenier is the traditional restaurant par excellence with the same decor, the same atmosphere and the same cuisine, the old stove and its copper cauldrons in the chimney, as that of the mountain pasture.
It is the time of veloutés, country soups, pig cooked as on the farm, Pot au Feu served in a casserole, Braserade, pan-fried frogs' legs, cheese fondues (including the now famous Fondue aux Truffes) accompanied by a basket of French toast and a large buffet of old-fashioned tarts. As for the wines, they come from the Valais, in particular the house Petite Arvine: "Les Grains Blancs et Rouges d'Adrien" and from the best French and Italian terroirs. For a snack, young and old alike can enjoy a hot waffle accompanied by an abundance of vanilla cream and a cup of frothy, smooth hot chocolate as in the past...
