The more partners we have who are committed to sustainability, the more competitive and popular our destination will be as a guarantor of tourism that meets the many challenges facing our society.
Verbier Tourisme encourages and wishes to actively support its partners via the Swisstainable and/or Valais Entreprise sustainability programmes.
Swisstainable is the Swiss sustainability programme for tourism. It focuses on the sustainable development of Switzerland as a tourist destination.
We offer a personalised support programme for businesses wishing to make a commitment, guiding them towards either the Swisstainable label or the Valais Entreprise brand, depending on their sector of activity.
NB: If you already have a sustainability label, existing certifications, initiatives or programmes will be integrated and recognised if they meet certain standards.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PROGRAMME
- You are interested in sustainability and its practical application in your company.
- You pay the Val de Bagnes tourism promotion tax and benefit directly from the destination’s tourism activity.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM VERBIER TOURISME
o Financing of registration in the STBL programme for a period of three years.
o Additional funding for the Valais Entreprise brand, if requested by the company.

THE PROGRAMME
First steps
Contact Verbier Tourisme, who will put you in touch with the sustainability coach for Swisstainable and/or Marque Valais Entreprise.
Support for the Swisstainable programme (3-hour package)
Personalised coaching from IEM HESSO and Verbier Tourisme is organised.
This coaching includes a new affiliation to the Swisstainable level I programme or recognition to claim level II or III, if you already benefit from a recognised sustainability label.
The stages :
o Company analysis
o Data assessment
o Expert advice
o Definition of priority actions
o On-site coaching visit possible
Support for the Valais Entreprise brand programme (3-hour package)
Personalised coaching specific to the Valais Entreprise brand is organised.
Stages :
o Analysis of the company and its self-assessment
o Coaching visit and appraisal
o Validation of an action plan
Meeting and follow-up
Coaching sessions are planned and carried out according to the chosen programme.
Financial arrangements
The invoice for your membership of the programme is sent by you to Verbier Tourisme, who will pay the amount directly.
Obtaining the distinction
Proof of certification is sent to Verbier Tourisme to close the file. Your company will be integrated into Verbier Tourisme’s communication channels and clearly identified as a sustainable and responsible company.
