The cantonal police provide a service throughout the canton of Valais.
Its general mission is to ensure public safety, in particular the protection of persons and property, to maintain public order and safety, to ensure compliance with communal regulations and laws in general, to assume the roles of prevention and repression and to ensure parking control.
