Never heard of padel, then it's high time you tried this great sport.

Padel is a mixture of tennis and squash. It is always played in doubles on a closed court with glass walls.
Halfway between tennis and squash, this racket sport, which is ultra-popular in Spain, has experienced a spectacular boom in Switzerland since 2016.
The court is enclosed, closed by glass panes and topped by fences at the back and sides of the court. A net separates the players of each team, like in tennis.

The court is enclosed, closed by glass panes and topped by fences at the back and sides of the court. A net separates the players of each team, like in tennis.
The game is organised as in tennis, with the walls acting as the back lines of the court. If the ball hits them directly during the game, it’s a foul.
However, if it hits the ground in the opponent's court and then hits a wall, it is still in play! It must not bounce a second time on the floor.
During the rally, players can volley the ball or put it back into the court from outside!
Padel does not require a lot of strength or technique, so it allows mixed groups to play against each other without problems. The most important qualities for playing padel are team spirit and agility, as points are scored by using strategy rather than sheer physical strength. Paddle tennis keeps you fit and protects your joints. It combines action, fun and conviviality.
Come and try it out!
