The church’s contemporary architectural design was produced by P. Dumas’s business partner Cyrille Gard, and it was consecrated on 28 October 1973 by Monsignor Nestor Adam, Bishop of Sion.

Its lines of light and finesse aim to inspire exaltation of the soul and peace.
