WINTER

With its central location, Le Châble is the gateway to Verbier, Bruson and the Haut Val de Bagnes. The administrative centre of the Val Bagnes municipality, Le Châble is a spot that travellers should not miss. The cable cars connecting Verbier and Bruson make it easy for enthusiasts of every level to get to their chosen ski areas. In the 4Vallées, there are more pistes than you can shake a ski pole at: 410 kilometres of them! But Le Châble is more than just a place to pass through! With its ski lifts, tourist office and railway station, the village is a major centre for services and the departure point for numerous excursions and hikes. If you decide to stay there, you’ll have the chance to discover a place that still lives in harmony with its traditions.

Summer

Situated at a crossroads, Le Châble is a haven of peace offering good living at the heart of tradition. As the administrative centre of the Val de Bagnes municipality, Le Châble is linked to Verbier and Bruson by cable car, which departs directly from the railway station, making it an ideal base camp from which to explore the region. But Le Châble is more than just a place to pass through! Traditions play an important role in the hearts of the local people, who cultivate them through numerous popular festivals, including ‘Bagnes capitale de la raclette’, the region’s flagship event. Another cultural attraction is the Musée de Bagnes and its Maison du Patrimoine (Heritage Museum), which celebrates local heritage as much as it takes a contemporary look at mountain regions.
