Introduction to canyoning with a professional guide.

The introductory canyoning course offered by the ESS (Swiss Ski School) in La Tzoumaz is the perfect way to try out this sport, which combines water, sliding and thrills in the heart of the Valais gorges. The excursion takes place on Fridays from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm, from 6 July to 30 August 2026, and is open to groups of 4 to 8 people. Transport, all equipment and professional guidance are included in the price; online booking by 12 noon the day before is compulsory. Children must be accompanied by an adult; simply bring a swimsuit, a change of clothes and a pair of water shoes. Changing rooms, toilets and a refreshment bar are available on site (cash only). VIP Pass holders receive a 20% discount on the activity. As an optional extra, you can extend the descent with the Discovery route (additional charge of CHF 55 per person, payable in cash to the guide). - Children must be accompanied by an adult. - Please bring towels, swimwear & an extra pair of shoes for the water - Cloakroom, toilets and drinks available on site Reservations should be made the day before (12am) at the latest at the tourist office.
