Description
Learn to climb on the outdoor routes of the Domus sector in La Tzoumaz, set in an exceptional natural environment in the Valaisan Alps. A guided activity led by an ESS instructor, suitable for the whole family.
The Domus climbing area offers a dozen bolted routes on a natural crag, ideal for an introduction to outdoor sport climbing. The routes are varied, ranging from grade 4b to 7c+, meaning that both beginners and more experienced climbers will find something to suit them.
The introductory session is led by a guide from the ESS (Swiss Ski School) in La Tzoumaz; booking is essential.
The site offers a lush, green setting typical of the Valais Alps, with on-site parking, a picnic area and the Domus Foundation’s refreshment bar. Suitable equipment (climbing shoes, harness) is essential for climbing in complete safety.
- Bring good shoes, walking trousers, a windbreaker and a water bottle.
- Transport to the climbing wall is provided by the organisers.
- Children aged 6 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. From age 12 with signed parental consent.
