Description
Free kids' workshop at the Kids Club: decorate your own jar into a lantern and get it ready for the torchlight parade on the evening of July 31st on the central square. Meet on July 31st at 3pm.
To mark National Day, the La Tzoumaz Tourist Office is organising a free creative workshop for children: “Make your own lantern”. Join us on 31 July at 3.00 pm at the Kids Club for a fun, hands-on activity before the evening’s festivities.
Each child is invited to bring a glass jar, such as a jam jar, which will serve as the base for the lantern. Once there, they can decorate it however they like, attach a handle so it’s easy to carry, and then fit an LED candle (provided) to create a safe and bright lantern.
The lanterns created will be used that very evening during the parade under the marquee in La Tzoumaz’s central square, bringing the 31 July celebrations to a close in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
A simple, free activity open to all children – the perfect way to kick off National Day with some fun.
