Is it possible to sledge on a closed ski run?

Access to closed ski runs is forbidden. Sledgers who use the slopes outside operating hours expose themselves to potentially fatal dangers such as the artificial triggering of avalanches or the presence of grooming machines equipped with a winch and/or tiller.

How should I dress for sledging?

Take the free shuttle bus no. 1 in the direction of > Savoleyres. Then take the cable car; the sledge run starts at the top of the facilities and is signposted.

No, the carpet lift at Les Esserts is free.

At what age can children start sledging at La Tzoumaz?

From age 8, accompanied by an adult.

Is sledging dangerous?

Don’t underestimate the fact that you can reach speeds of up to 50km/h. So it’s vital to be vigilant.
