Forêt de Montbrun

Looking for a route with some elevation gain and beautiful forest roads? This route is sure to hit the spot! Starting from Le Châble train station, you’ll first climb up to the Mayens de Bruson, then head deep into the dense Montbrun forest before descending to Etiez, near the Dranse river. The route then follows the river and returns to Le Châble via La Gouille à Vaudan. If you want to enjoy all these landscapes but climbing isn’t really your thing, take the gondola up to the Mayens de Bruson (Moay). From there, you can easily join the route by riding down the road to the La Côt car park. A route map is available from the tourist offices and ski lift sales kiosks.
