Discover the Beekeeping Competence Centre (CCA), a unique place dedicated to bees and beekeeping in Valais.
On the Val de Bagnes banks of the Dranse, not far from Sembrancher, this centre opened in May 2024 and is dedicated to research, training, honey extraction by beekeepers, and raising public awareness of the importance of bees and biodiversity. It includes an apitherapy area with treatment rooms and is surrounded by a garden with beehives. Visits are generally by reservation, except in summer, when they are offered on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as well as on Thursdays with the Pays du St-Bernard Tourist Office.
Visits to the Beekeeping Skills Centre (CCA) are only possible by booking, for groups of 6 to 16 people. To book, you can contact the centre by email at visites@cca-abeille.ch or by telephone on 077 233 85 00.
