Where to have a break and picnic
In the village:
At the central square, a garden lounge is at your disposal. You will also find long tables, ideal to gather round and have a picnic.
Lower down on the central road, two large picnic tables are situated just after the apartments Richemont I.
At the Domus foundation, situated on the road to Riddes, a picnic area with a playground is open to the public. Why not visit the farm animals while you are there!
In the mountain:
At the site commonly called “le marteau”, situated on the trail of the senses/bisse de Saxon, a big picnic place where you can also use a grille is free to
On the “bisse de Saxon”, walking towards Saxon, you have a picnic table just before you can cut off to walk back to La Tzoumaz and another one further on with a small hut.
At the entrance of the “Vallon d’Arbi” (les pontets), on the right-hand side of the river “fare”, you will find a small rustic picnic table in an idyllic setting, perfect to share a moment with the family.
