Festive and educational events celebrating bees and wildlife as part of Nature Festival!
Wednesday 20 May:
2.00 pm – 5.00 pm: Interactive workshops on gardening, honey plants and medicinal plants, exploring the world of bees and apitherapy.
5.00 pm – 7.00 pm: Discussion and meet-and-greet with the speakers
Sunday 24 May:
9.00 am Doors open.
Explore the exhibition and garden at the CCA Centre de Compétences en Apiculture
9.30 am – 11.45 am Build your own shelter for wild bees with your children.
Creative building workshop – take your shelter home with you.
2 groups, limited to 30 participants. Subject to numbers.
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm Group lunch (registration required)
Cost: 30.- per person / Children free
15.- for those on low incomes
Donations welcome.
Afternoon programme:
1:30 pm Welcome at the Sembrancher community hall.
Childcare provided by qualified carers.
14:00–15:30 Presentations by various speakers and questions from the audience

2) Presentation by the Association Les sentiers des Savoirs by Loïc Maret
3) Presentation on visions for beekeeping by (to be confirmed)
4) What the Parval study “Study on pesticide exposure among children in Valais” does not say, by Léonard Dorsaz
3.30 pm – 5.00 pm: Round table discussion on pesticide approval in Switzerland
