Create your own handmade paper lamp. Includes an inspiring Artist Talk with Anna Van Dorsten. No experience needed. All materials provided.

Paper Lamp Making Join us for a slow and creative afternoon where you'll create your own handmade paper lamp using simple papier-mâché techniques, sculptural forms and delicate layers of paper. We will begin with a special Artist Meet & Greet (13:45–14:15) with Anna Van Dorsten (Maison Bailly), who will share her artistic practice, her relationship with materials, and how everyday gestures can become meaningful creative objects. This intimate conversation will open the workshop with inspiration before we begin creating together. The workshop officially starts at 14:30. Throughout the session, you'll be guided step by step as you build your own sculptural paper lamp or light object. We'll explore texture, light, volume and composition while working with natural materials in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. No previous experience is required. Whether you're discovering paper for the first time or already enjoy making things by hand, this workshop is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with creativity and leave with a unique object made by you. Your ticket includes: • Artist Meet & Greet with Anna Van Dorsten • All paper, structure materials and workshop tools • Step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop • One handmade paper lamp to take home • Light snacks and drinks • A calm, creative afternoon shared with others Please note: the electrical components (lamp holder, cable, switch and light bulb) are not included. You don't need to bring anything. All materials are provided. Optional: If you have a lamp holder, cable, switch, light bulb, special paper, pressed flower, drawing, printed image or another personal element you'd like to incorporate into your lamp, you're very welcome to bring it along.
