The Verbier Bike Festival is a major cycling festival that attracts both thrill-seekers and families in search of the great outdoors.
The event combines scenic walks, local food and drink tastings, and encounters with local people. It offers a different way to experience the mountains, blending sport, culture and a friendly atmosphere.
Whether you come to try out the latest models from the major brands or simply to explore the marked trails of the Val de Bagnes, there’s something for everyone. The routes on offer allow you to explore little-known corners of the valley. For the more adventurous, daily challenges add a bit of spice to the experience: speed, orienteering or endurance trials.
Beyond the sporting activities, the festival focuses on local cuisine. The flagship event, the Rando Gourmande, is the best example of this. This cycle ride, punctuated by gourmet stops at local restaurants, invites participants to discover regional specialities as they ride. Alpine cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, Valais wines: cycling becomes an excuse for tasting. You can also enjoy the Discovery Trail and the lively Events Village.
The beating heart of the festival remains its village. With several exhibitors, including most of the bike brands, showcasing their latest innovations. Thanks to the bike test sessions, you can try out numerous models on site. It also welcomes families, with activities for children as well as musical entertainment.
Registration is open until the day of the event. You can bring your own bike or hire one on site.
