WEMfest is WEMountain’s annual festival: a friendly, free evening at the Verbier Cinema, where freeride films, athletes and experts come together to raise awareness of mountain safety.

Every year, this event marks the start of the new season by bringing together the freeride and outdoor community at the Verbier Cinema for a free evening open to all. On the programme: screenings of several inspiring films (expeditions, personal adventures and footage that captures the spirit of the mountains), accompanied by discussions with athletes and experts on safety and accident prevention in the mountains. For this fourth edition, the event will take place on Saturday 12 December 2026. A raffle, with prizes donated by our partners, will round off the evening, before everyone heads to the Pub Mont-Fort for an after-party. Beyond the pleasure of sharing stunning images on the big screen, WEMfest has a clear mission: to raise awareness amongst mountain enthusiasts about safety issues, in a warm and inclusive setting, so that everyone can pursue their passion with greater freedom, more enjoyment and fewer risks.
