Camping Forêt des Mélèzes et village Sioux

Camping forêt des Mélèzes was elected "Best Camping of the Year 2011" in the category "small charming campsite (Election Holland)".

Whether you are a lover of authentic camping, a sports enthusiast or a person in need of rejuvenation, you have found the ideal place. 400 km of footpaths are available in the Val de Bagnes, as well as mountain bike trails, climbing and via ferrata courses.

Our facilities are functional and modern, with several pitches available with access to electricity, tables and fireplaces on the ground or grills.

The Sioux Village offers a comfortable camping experience, without the need to bring your bulky equipment. It's an experience for families, couples, friends and corporate outings. Enjoy days of walking in beautiful alpine landscapes and cosy evenings around a campfire. You will sleep in European tipis, equipped with mattresses and bedding. During the night, you will be lulled by the sound of waterfalls and birds.

In front of each tipi there is a grill and chairs. Self-service breakfast awaits you in a saloon where you will find coffee, tea, cocoa, orange juice, cereals, yogurt, butter, jam and bread.

There are no bison or beavers here, but ibex, chamois and marmots, as well as herds of cows and sheep that wander up the valley to the pastures.
