Camping forêt des Mélèzes was elected "Best Camping of the Year 2011" in the category "small charming campsite (Election Holland)". Whether you are a lover of authentic camping, a sports enthusiast or a person in need of rejuvenation, you have found the ideal place. 400 km of footpaths are available in the Val de Bagnes, as well as mountain bike trails, climbing and via ferrata courses. Our facilities are functional and modern, with several pitches available with access to electricity, tables and fireplaces on the ground or grills. Le Village Sioux offers a comfortable camping experience, without the need for you to bring any bulky equipment. In front of each tepee, you’ll find a barbecue, a table and benches. You’ll sleep peacefully in modernised tepees, equipped with mattresses and bedding, surrounded by incredible natural scenery, and you’ll be enveloped by the serenity of this place. The sound of nearby waterfalls will be your soothing, relaxing background music. You’ll be enveloped in deep silence, broken only by the sounds of nature gently coming to life. Enjoy lovely days spent walking through stunning alpine landscapes and cosy evenings around a campfire. Here there are no bison or beavers, but ibex, chamois and marmots, as well as herds of cows and sheep making their way up the valley in search of pasture. Les Lodges du Pleureur are an ideal choice for those seeking a camping experience close to nature, with a touch of extra comfort. Accommodating up to 5 people, each lodge features a kitchenette, dining area and an outdoor terrace on stilts, where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air and gaze at the stars twinkling brightly in the night sky, offering an enchanting spectacle. You’ll take home unforgettable memories. Staying at our campsite means choosing a quality holiday in a preserved environment. Reservations are not compulsory but strongly recommended, especially for July and August.
