Discover one of Europe’s largest woodland pastures. This educational trail was created to mark the 200th anniversary of Valais joining the Swiss Confederation (1815-2015). It focuses in particular on the larch, which was selected as a symbol for the bicentenary communications campaign.

This easy hike allows you to discover more about our canton while passing through enchanting larch forests. There are 34 stations exploring fauna, flora and local geography interspersed along the bicentenary trail. The trail’s starting point is near Golly lake (Col du Lein).
