The traditional Christmas market will once again take over the Espace Saint-Marc, offering our visitors the spirit of an outdoor market indoors by recreating a Christmas night-time atmosphere with lighting effects.
This year, more than 50 exhibitors will be presenting and selling their creations. We are giving priority to artisans from the Val de Bagnes and Valais.
To encourage socialising and conviviality, the foyer will host a bar and a varied range of food, including raclette. It will remain open on Saturday until 9pm.
On Saturday, the La Petite Edelweiss children's choir (30 singers) will perform on stage from 2pm to 2.45pm.
Other concerts will take place during the weekend:
- the JohnTone Trio (Saturday from 4pm to 8pm), a Swiss and Valais jazz trio who will perform their original compositions with jazz, blues and bossa influences, combined with other influences.
- The Lost Guides (Sunday from 12pm to 3pm), playing country, blues and rock “n” roll.
An area run by the Val de Bagnes parents' association will welcome children. Activities and workshops are on the programme, including biscuit making, letters to Father Christmas, face painting and a visit from Father Christmas himself. Opening hours: Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, the Sembrancher fire brigade will be putting on an outdoor event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
