Verbier 3-D Foundation is a non-profit cultural organisation dedicated to promoting contemporary art, environmental awareness and education through its annual artistic residency and immersive sculpture park.
Founded in 2010 by New York artist Madeleine Paternot and Verbier artist Kiki Thompson, the Verbier 3-D Foundation has created an experimental sculpture park at an altitude of 2,300 metres, between La Chaux and Les Ruinettes.

Kiki Thompson, a visionary organiser, has fashioned this unique high-altitude space where art and ecology meet. A veritable ‘museum without walls’ stretching over 3km, the park offers each visitor an immersive and personal experience, providing a real sense of escape.

Each year, selected artists collaborate with curator Alexa Jeanne Kusber to explore local environmental issues through research and dialogue. This process deepens their connection with the region and inspires work that has both a local and global impact.

From July to October, a parallel exhibition, from Croix-de-Cœur to Les Ruinettes, highlights the research and creative process of the artist in residence for the year. The resulting works are then installed in the sculpture park, where they remain on display for at least two years.
