Getting around
the Val de Bagnes

From here, Verbier is just 20 minutes away, by bus or cable car, at the same fare.
The cable car takes you straight to Médran, while the bus drops you off at Station Poste, right on the central square. The bus is free for ski pass holders on the same day, when the cable car is also operating. All bus information is available here.
The cable car runs continuously from 5:10 am to 11:55 pm, just like public transport. GA and Half-Fare Travelcards are valid. Buy your ticket here.

From Le Châble, the train towards Martigny stops in Etiez and Sembrancher.

From Le Châble train station, a bus runs towards Fionnay, serving all the villages along the way. All information and tickets are available here. It also stops at the departure point of the cable car to Sarreyer (timetables here).

From Le Châble train station, a bus runs towards Bruson. Its terminus is at the Valbord car park. All information and tickets are available here.
From there, a shuttle bus takes you to the Mayens de Bruson and to the Bruson ski lifts. All information is available here.

From Le Châble train station, a bus runs towards Fionnay, stopping at “Champsec, Téléphérique”. All information and tickets are available here. From there, a cable car takes you to Sarreyer. This cable car is primarily intended for the residents of Sarreyer, but it can also be used by visitors. Bicycles are not allowed. All information is available here (the journey is free).

In winter, Verbier and La Tzoumaz are connected by two gondola lifts (for pedestrians) and one gondola lift for skiers. This connection is subject to the ski lift timetable. All information can be found here.
The alternative route by public transport goes via Le Châble, Martigny and Riddes. Don’t be late getting back to Verbier!

To reach the Brunet hut by ski touring: La Barmasse car park, between Lourtier and Fionnay, near the bus stop “Lourtier, La Barmasse”.
For a snowshoe walk between the Col de Planches and the Col du Lein: Col des Planches car park.

In winter, some roads are closed, such as the Col du Tronc and Col du Lein (above Vollèges), as well as the Croix-de-Cœur road (between Verbier and La Tzoumaz).
The road to the Mauvoisin dam is also closed at Fionnay.

• Drive to Martigny, then continue towards Riddes and La Tzoumaz.
• Via the Col de la Croix de Cœur: once the snow has melted and until autumn, you can also pass via the Col de la Croix de Cœur.
