Cabane Brunet

Refuge in Lourtier

  • Situated at an altitude of some 2,100 metres, Cabane Brunet is open from the beginning of December to the end of April and again from the beginning of June to the beginning of October.

  • Starting point for many hikes, you will be greeted by Jean-Marc Corthay's big smile on your arrival. The current caretaker takes great care to make your stay at the Brunet hut a moment out of time. He will be delighted to cook local specialities for you or to tell you everything he knows about the surrounding mountains, their fauna and flora.

    This warm and typical refuge also provides overnight accommodation in a dormitory, with dinner and breakfast included.
