The train is the simplest and smoothest way to reach Verbier. From anywhere in Switzerland or abroad, you travel as far as Le Châble, then continue up to the resort by gondola or bus.
Timetables and tickets are available on the SBB app. Travel time is around 2 h 40 from Geneva and 4 h 20 from Zurich. The train takes you to Le Châble; from there, Verbier is 20 minutes away by bus or cable car.
From here, Verbier is just 20 minutes away, by bus or cable car, at the same fare. The cable car takes you straight to Médran, while the bus drops you off at Station Poste, right on the central square. The cable car runs continuously from 5:10 am to 11:55 pm, just like public transport. GA and Half-Fare Travelcards are valid. Buy your ticket on the SBB website.
The Verbier Express and the VosAlpes Express take you straight to the foot of the slopes on winter weekends and public holidays. No transfers needed: you reach Le Châble from Geneva Airport or from Fribourg in a single journey. Verbier is accessible by car all year round. Depending on the length of your stay — a day on the slopes, a weekend or a longer break — different parking options are available in Le Châble or directly in Verbier. In winter, remember to check road conditions and make sure your vehicle is properly equipped.
In Le Châble, the car park at the foot of the ski lifts (P4) offers free parking for up to 10 days. In Verbier, several paid car parks are also available for longer stays.

In Verbier, there is no car park with direct access to the slopes, but several car parks are available in the resort. Thanks to the free shuttle buses, you can easily reach the ski lifts.
