Le Château

Discover Verbier’s surrounding area on this 9km route. Starting from the Route des Creux, continue up the road until you reach the Les Savoleyres ski lifts. The Chemin des Luis heads off to the right towards “Le Château”. After climbing up a forest trail by bike, you can take a short walk into Les Forcles forest where you’ll find the ruins of the Château de Verbier dating back to 1287. Then come back down a wide path through the woods to reach Patier. A route map is available from the tourist offices and ski lift sales kiosks.
