Experience the Bec des Rosses through a spectacular high-alpine hike.
This route takes you through some of the most impressive landscapes in the upper reaches of the Val de Bagnes: alpine passes, scree slopes, a high-altitude lake and sweeping views of the peaks of the 4 Vallées.
From Les Ruinettes, the route heads to La Chaux before following the old irrigation channel and skirting the slopes of Bec des Rosses in a distinctly alpine setting. The path then joins the Sentier des Chamois trail to Col Termin. Up there, the route branches off towards Lac du Petit Mont-Fort, nestled at the foot of the peaks. The climb to the Col de la Chaux then continues along a path that is sometimes poorly marked, reserved for hikers accustomed to alpine routes. From the pass, the descent joins the Route des Gentianes before returning to Les Ruinettes.
