A mountain pass to cross, a glacier stretching out before you and a footbridge to cross: discover one of the iconic routes in the Haut Val de Bagnes.
From the Cabane Brunet, pass through the hamlet known as ‘Pron Sery’, a peaceful spot where the sound of rivers and streams sets the pace. Then continue towards the Col des Avouillons. The climb requires a bit of effort, but once at the top, the scenery changes: the Corbassière Glacier stretches out before you, dominated by the Combins massif.
Begin the descent and gradually draw closer to the glacier. At the foot of its moraine, the Corbassière footbridge awaits you, suspended 70 metres above the glacial torrent. Take a few steps out over the void and take in the full grandeur of the landscape around you.
From the footbridge, head back down the path towards La Maye, then carry on to the Sery footbridge before reaching the Cabane Brunet.
