To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Verbier 3-D Sculpture Park, we invite visitors to join us for a day of music, poetry, brunch and cultural discovery.
This summer, the Verbier 3-D Foundation is celebrating fifteen years of artistic experimentation in dialogue with the landscape, ecology, sound and contemporary culture in the Alps. Since its creation in 2011, Verbier 3-D has developed into a true ‘Museum Without Walls’: an artists’ residency, a sculpture park and a cultural platform where artists, musicians, poets, architects, engineers and environmental thinkers engage directly with the mountain environment. In collaboration with the Verbier Festival and the Verbier Academy, the 2026 season marks an important milestone for the Foundation as well as a new chapter in its integration into the wider cultural life of Verbier.
For the first time, Verbier 3-D has been invited by Hervé Boissière, co-director of the Verbier Festival, to design the sculptural installation at the entrance to the Salle des Combins. The selected work, created by the Franco-Swiss artist Mireille Fulpius, establishes a powerful dialogue between contemporary art, architecture and the venue. Its minimalist presence resonates strongly with the architectural language of the renowned architect Kengo Kuma, whose vision for Verbier’s future cultural centre also seeks to blur the boundaries between nature, culture and the built environment.
In keeping with the spirit that has driven Verbier 3-D since 2011, we invite visitors to enjoy three musical performances by students from the Verbier Festival Academy Lab, as well as a poetry recital by Carmen Campo Real. Guests will also be able to enjoy a lively brunch with DJ NikoBeats, accompanied by cocktails provided by Verbier Gin.
For our younger visitors, we will be organising an educational workshop and a guided tour of the Ruinettes Water Treatment Plant.
As Verbier continues to evolve as an international cultural destination, the Foundation’s 15th-anniversary programme opens up new dialogues across disciplines, generations and environments. It brings together artists, musicians, thinkers and audiences to imagine new ways of experiencing and engaging with culture in the mountains.
